I have a 29G tank that I want to make into poison dart frog vivarium.
My problem is that I don't know exactly where to start. I do know that
I want it to have a small aquatic area on one side and possible a
waterfall into that. After some research I found several options for
creating this but just need to know which is the best option. I was
thinking of getting a divider and sealing that into the tank to
separate the two areas. However, are there other less permanent
solutions? I have seen some info on false bottom setups. But these
confuse me. The pics I saw of one show holes for plumbing in the
bottom. Does this mean I will have to cut holes in my tank to have a
water area? Also I have purchased a Coco Fiber background for the
tank, can this go in the water area as well? And as far as it going in
the land area does it go from top to bottom? or should I put the Terra-
Lite and Substrate in first?
Thanks for any help, I am looking forward to having a great vivarium
in the near future.

I'm sorry I can't help you directly, but I have found a good book to
be "Terrarium and Cage Construction and Care" by R D Bartlett. It's a
little heavy on animals but does contain good information.
