Hello,
I was wondering if anyone else has seen this problem. We have two
Gecko Lizards for about 6 years now, and both are getting big and have
nice fat tales (Sign of a health gecko).
One of the Geckos recently (last month) has had a problem where she is
keeping her eyes half closed, we were assuming she really dry eyes so
we started to treat her with a basic saline eye drop and one of the
eyes are fully open now but I noticed a cloudy spot on her eye. The
other eye is not open yet, but I am wondering what else I can do.. ?
They are in a 50 gal tank with a couple different hiding spots (caves)
all hiding spots have either damp paper towels or dam moss in them.
The tank substrate is Cali-sand with heaters underneath the tank. The
tank gets to about 75-80 during the day and 70-75 at night. I am
having trouble getting the tank above 80. I even bought a heat emitter
(150 watt for 50 Gal tanks).
Any advise would be helpful.
